Vous justifiez également d'au moins 5 ans d'expérience professionnelle acquis à des fonctions similaires dans le domaine de l’amiante ou en tant que Diagnostiqueur Amiante, Encadrant Amiante SS3 ou Chargé d’Affaires Amiante. Job Description We are seeking a Project Geotechnical Engineer to join our Bay Area team in San Jose, Walnut Creek, or Alameda, CA. The successful candidate will manage geotechnical, forensic, and construction projects, working closely with clients and internal teams. Key Responsibilities * Manage geotechnical, forensic, and construction projects * Interact directly with clients and manage project budgets * Coordinate and participate in field activities, including: o Logging borings, test pits, trenches, and cores o Evaluating geologic and seismic hazards o Performing forensic evaluations of distressed structures and failed slopes * Perform engineering analyses, including: o Foundation design and evaluation o Slope stability analysis o Settlement analysis * Prepare geotechnical engineering proposals and technical reports * Provide technical support and mentorship to staff engineers, geologists, and field technicians Qualifications Required Qualifications * California Professional Engineering (PE) license REQUIRED * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a related field. * Minimum of 5 years of geotechnical engineering experience; experience with a geotechnical consulting firm preferred. * Strong understanding of soil mechanics, geotechnical engineering principles, and subsurface investigation methods. * Experience with field exploration, soil classification, geotechnical analyses, and report preparation. * Ability to perform technical calculations and interpret laboratory and field data. * Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Preferred Qualifications * Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology, or related engineering discipline preferred. * Experience with geotechnical software used for slope stability, settlement, liquefaction, and foundation analyses. * Experience providing construction observation and geotechnical field support services. * Familiarity with Bay Area geologic and geotechnical conditions. Job Description We are seeking an ICC Certified Reinforced Concrete and/or Structural Masonry Special Inspector to perform special inspections on commercial, industrial, and public works construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring construction activities comply with approved plans, specifications, applicable building codes, and industry standards. Responsibilities * Perform special inspections of reinforced concrete and structural masonry construction in accordance with project specifications and applicable building codes. * Verify compliance with approved plans, shop drawings, and special inspection requirements. * Inspect reinforcing steel placement, concrete placement activities, masonry construction, grout placement, and related structural elements. * Document inspection observations and prepare accurate daily reports and project documentation. * Maintain complete and organized project files, including reports, field notes, correspondence, RFIs, and supporting records. * Communicate inspection findings and project updates to project managers, contractors, engineers, and client representatives. * Identify and document non-conforming work and verify corrective actions when required. * Review structural drawings, specifications, and code requirements prior to and during inspections. * Perform inspections in accordance with company quality standards and safety procedures. Qualifications Qualifications * Minimum of 2 years of experience performing special inspections, construction inspection, or related quality assurance/quality control work. * Thorough knowledge of reinforced concrete and structural masonry construction practices and inspection requirements. * Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and applicable building codes. * Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate project documentation. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and organizational skills. * Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
